The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. This shows a peaceful view of old Pawley's Island houses that have survived many hurricanes. When I moved back from New York to South Carolina I drove straight to Pawley's and kissed the ground.
