A horse grazes peacefully in a sunlit meadow, casting a long shadow on the grass. The warm glow of the late afternoon sun enhances the serene atmosphere of the rural landscape. Blue Sky and his wife spent a peaceful week in Shenandoah Valley which inspired this iconic view.
Blue Sky was born Warren Edward Johnson in Columbia, South Carolina (1938). Sky has painted professionally for over 55 years, and is solely supported by his art since 1970. His works are in the Smithsonian and many other museums. He is best known for his trompe l'oeil mural and masterpiece, TUNNELVISION (1975).
