Blue Sky captured this scene in paint after marveling at the beauty while roaming in his home state of South Carolina. Horses graze peacefully in a lush, green pasture under a warm sky. Several birds are scattered around the horses, and a silver bucket, catching the sunlight is placed in the grass nearby.
About Blue Sky
Blue Sky was born Warren Edward Johnson in Columbia, South Carolina (1938). Sky has painted professionally for over 55 years, and is solely supported by his art since 1970. His works are in the Smithsonian and many other museums. He is best known for his trompe l'oeil mural and masterpiece, TUNNELVISION (1975).
