Artist's Description
My three legged cat, Tux. She mysteriously appeared in my backyard when she was about 6 weeks old and she had been torn up by something. I rushed her to the cat doctor and they had to amputate one of her legs and half of her tail. It never slowed her down. She could climb trees and box the other cats, so they never messed with her. She's about 17 now but when I did this portrait she was so tiny that the collar I put on her was huge, so I couldn't resist - I had to paint her.
