Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. This mural was commissioned by the AgFirst Bank in Columbia, South Carolina as a commemoration of their 75th anniversary. Requesting an agricultural scene, artist, Blue Sky chose this subject matter for the mural. Photographed by photographer Scott Bilby (Bilbytron on facebook) on a day when the clouds amazingly matched the mural giving it even more depth.
