Summer off McMeekins Point metal print by Blue Sky. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description
This was painted on location from my boat on a summer day after a bottle of French wine. After painting this in 1998 we kept it in our private collection and years later I did a larger studio work named McMeekins Point using this as a study, much like the old masters did in their works. It's a beautiful area of Lake Murray in my hometown of Columbia, South Carolina. For this study I created a hand-painted frame for the work that is not shown here.
